The Hotel was clean and well decorated for it's theme. The rooms were spacious,comfortable and clean with all the appliances you will need and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The onsite resturant is actually very good and well priced, so no need to go off site for food. This Hotel is great for families visiting the Wildlife Park and Business travellers who fancy something different. Or you can both .. I will be back for another stay.
Just returned from 5 days at this wonderful hotel, lovely room and spotless clean. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay and they are a credit to your company. The Wild bistro is really nice with great food . In addition the Wildlife Park is on site and again a wonderful experience.
I love the hotel and surrounding area. But would prefer an armchair or seat rather than bean bag. I’d never get up off it. Room in some area could do with a bit of a touch up. Also. I must mention. When using shower. Glass not cleaned after someone had wrote there name in the steam. Which obviously had disappeared when dry
Decided to book a night away for my wife’s birthday. Absolutely fantastic hotel, everything was perfect for us. An excellent all round experience from arriving to leaving. The breakfast choices were fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone considering a hotel in the Doncaster area.
We stayed in interconnecting rooms and it was great. We weren't sure of the size of the room connected to the double room so I thought I'd share a picture of the size of the room. It's a standard room with twin beds. No shortness of space or bathrooms which I know some places do. Great hotel and stay at the Hex Hotel. It's very family friendly for people with young kids
Fantastic hotel. Lovely deco. Had everything you need in the rooms. We stayed in a family room which had double bed and bunk beds. Spacious and clean. Each floor has a communal kitchen with vending machines, microwave, baby bottle warmers. Staff very helpful. Check in easy and swift. Kids loved it. Breakfast was also fab, buffet style self serve. Plenty of choice. Will definitely stay again.
4 night Ava coach holiday to the Hex hotel. Staff excellent. Well stocked bar, food ok but plates need to be hotter. Rooms very clean and spacious. Location excellent, at the Yorkshire wildlife park.
The check in was seamless. The hotel was perfect with lots of outlets if you needed to work or charge phones and cameras. The restaurant was lovely and the menu was good and varied and not too expensive. We also got 10% of the bill with our annual pass. The hotel had well stocked kitchen areas . The parking area for the hotel was close enough that carrying bags wasn't a problem .
